Have a Spring Fling with Proven Winners

Proven Winners have put together a Spring Fling collection of early flowering favourites to get gardens looking great in the early months of the year.

Early spring can often be a lovely time to spend outside in the garden. Last March we had so many dry sunny days that Proven Winners decided it was time to make gardens spring into action a bit earlier than usual.
For spring, we have selected three varieties that you can plant to brighten up your garden with early flower flushes.

Erysimum Rysi and Winter

Erysimum Rysi and Winter

The Rysi series and the Winter collection of Erysimums, also known as Wallflowers, flower early on in the spring and come in cool yellows, hot pinks and zingy oranges.

They have upright flowers and are a great alternative to spring bulbs. They grow well in containers and look good as a centrepiece as they add height to planting recipes.

Tiarella

Tiarellas have pretty foam flowers and trail beautifully from pots and baskets.

The variety 'Morning Star' by Proven Winners has strong bronze stars on its green foliage and fluffy pink foamy flowers that shoot up in spring.

Plant them around the edges of containers to allow them to spill over the sides.

Myosotis

Myosotis

'My Oh My' is a Myosotis (Forget-Me-Not) that makes a cool accompaniment to warm and fresh spring colours.

It creates a mist of sky-blue Forget-Me-Not flowers in early spring, and has a compact habit that makes it perfect for pots and planting recipes.

We have also created some Spring Fling Pot Art Recipes which are available now to get your garden springing into action.
